As told in Luke 2:8–11, shepherds were watching their flocks in the fields when an angel appeared, declaring, “Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.” The night sky filled with heavenly light, and a brilliant star marked the place where Jesus lay. The shepherds followed in faith, becoming the first to witness and share the miracle of His birth.
